About 80% of wind energy potential exists over waters too deep for today’s fixed-bottom wind turbine foundations secured directly to the sea floor, and instead require floating platforms.

Towards 250 GW by 2050.

The International Energy Agency predicts that offshore wind has the potential to generate more than 420,000 TWh per year worldwide, which is more than 18 times global electricity demand today, and has the potential to be a $1 trillion industry by 2040. Aikido was born to help achieve this potential.
